Motherhood: When you want to be alone...

Every Stay-At-Home Moms have a different story to tell. Not many of us are financially blessed... not many of us have a "hands-on-daddy" working husband... and not many of us have behaved children.

Everyday can be different for us but surely doesn't get any easier. Day to day we cope and each day we get mentally stronger. But the stronger we get, the faster we get burned out.

And when that happens... we just want to be alone...

Unfortunately... we can't get our "alone" time whenever we need it... or better yet, we could never get a guilt-free alone time LOL!!!

So how do we deal with it? I won't speak for others... but in my case, I usually just wait till my daughter is asleep and have my alone time then and vent to my friends like no one's business! LOL!

How about you? How do you handle it when you have had enough?... Maybe we can learn new tactics from each other LOL... do share your tricks LOL!

  1. There was a time that I could certainly relate to this post when my children were small and like you my alone time was mostly when they were asleep. Now they are all grown up but of course being a mom does not stop there although thier is more alone time there are still worries, laughter, good times and some challenging times. Alone times to rest and time for you is important as a mom because it is the hardest job there is. :)

    1. Definitely the hardest job there is... and I'm sure it really doesn't get any easier... even your kids are older... I'm sure worrying about them can frustrate you to no end hehehe

  2. My kids are probably a lot older than yours, but I still appreciate "Mommy Alone Time", which for me is after my youngest is in bed. Personally I like to celebrate my alone time with a nice glass (or bottle) of wine. Cheers!
