Quite A Bummer...

I've been monitoring the weather for this Saturday, oh say, more than a week now. It has been saying that it's going to be sunny, to mostly sunny, to possible showers and now, 50% rain.

That's of course a downer... But heck, I'm sure we're gonna have a great time regardless...

Unfortunately, this is not the end of it!

For the past month and so, I have been looking for a decent cake artist that's not going to charge me a whole lot since I wanted a certain design cake and have no time to do it myself with all the stuffs I have to prepare.

Well... A friend of mine offered and that her friend is an artist and willing to do it for me. That was all set until today...

The artist decided to back out and didn't have the time to do it! SAD! Why do that the last minute...

I wish I was told a little sooner...

But I'll live LOL... I just needed to vent...

Anyhoo... Got more stuffs to work on... Rain or shine, we'll have a blast! Till I blog again! :)

Two Years Ago...

2 years ago around this time... I was terrified, in pain, miserable and exhausted. But I must've done something good in my life that God gave me a beautiful baby girl.

Having her made me want to be a mother... having her helped prepare me to fight my battle with cancer... And having her made cancer itself seem feeble.

And now she's 2, I am grateful that I get to live this far and get to watch her grow and witness all the things she does (yes! That includes the stress LOL)...

And to you, Nyomi Anne Ledesma, my wonderful angel and princess... Happy happy birthday! I wish you lots of love and all the happiness in this world. You just make me so proud and i love you so much!

Party Preparation...

Yes... I have been slacking off and sorry for not blogging for quite a while.

Anyhoo, my daughter, Nyomi, is turning 2 this coming Tuesday (how time flies) and she's having a sesame street inspired party the coming Saturday. It is gonna be so much fun but with that said... we're pretty occupied preparing for that as well as for her actual birth day. :)
